This is the blog for the Kids Candle Company, a business started by Hunter and Taylor, two seven-year old twins living in Brisbane, Australia, and their Dad, Cameron. The kids started the business in July 2008 with a desire to make some additional money so they can save up for new computers (they both want a Mac like their Dad). They also want to learn the basics of running a small business so that when they finish school they can become full-time entrepreneurs.
We decided to make beeswax candles because it is simple, environmentally friendly, and fun!
They have committed to giving 25% of their profits every month to Kiva to support other entrepreneurs in developing countries.
